For lifters 40+ getting back at it

Your comeback, one text at a time.

Chapter Two Fitness texts you each day's workout, built around your schedule, your equipment, and whatever your knees have to say about it. Reply with what you lifted and tomorrow's plan adjusts.

You're on the list. 💪

I'll email you when the first spots open, along with founding member pricing. In the meantime, go drink some water and do a few squats. Your future self says thanks.

How it works

Three steps. No app to download.

If you can send a text, you can do this.

1

Tell us where you're starting

Answer a few quick questions: your age, any old injuries, what equipment you've got (full gym, garage, or two dumbbells and a dream), and when you can train.

2

Get today's workout by text

Each training day, your workout shows up on your phone. No guessing, no wandering around the gym wondering what to do next.

3

Reply, and the plan adapts

Text back what you lifted. Ready for more? Weight goes up. Something hurts? It backs off. Gone quiet for a few days? Expect a friendly check-in.

Who it's for

Built for the second chapter.

You used to lift, or always meant to. Life happened. Now you want to get strong again without getting hurt doing it.

A good fit if you…

  • Are 40 or older and getting back into lifting (or starting fresh)
  • Want someone to just tell you what to do today
  • Have some old injuries and want to work around them sensibly
  • Train at a gym, at home, or in a garage with whatever you've got
  • Do better with a nudge than with an app you forget to open

Probably not for you if you…

  • Need rehab or treatment for an injury or medical condition
  • Want in-person, hands-on personal training
  • Are prepping for a competition or chasing elite numbers
A note from Jim

Hey, I'm Jim. I'm not a fitness celebrity and I won't pretend to be an expert. I'm a regular guy over 40 who figured out lifting the slow way: years of trial and error, a lot of mistakes, and the occasional "well, I won't do that again."

What finally worked for me wasn't a fancy program. It was knowing exactly what to do each day, keeping track of what I lifted, adding weight when I was ready, and backing off when my body told me to. Simple stuff that's surprisingly hard to stick with on your own.

Chapter Two Fitness is my attempt to package that up and put it in your pocket, so you can skip a few of the mistakes I made along the way.

FAQ

Fair questions.

Is this medical advice?

No. Chapter Two Fitness is a guided workout program and habit coach, not medical advice and not personal training. Please talk to your doctor before starting any exercise program, especially if you have an injury, a health condition, or haven't been active in a while. If something hurts in a way that worries you, stop and get it checked out.

How much will it cost?

Founding member pricing is coming soon, and people on the waitlist will hear about it first. It'll be a simple monthly subscription with a 7-day free trial. Joining the waitlist is free and doesn't commit you to anything.

What equipment do I need?

Whatever you've got. Your plan is built around your setup, whether that's a full commercial gym, a garage with a rack, or a pair of dumbbells next to the couch.

I haven't lifted in years. Is that okay?

That's exactly who this is for. You'll start where you are, not where you were at 25, and build up from there.

Chapter one is done. Let's start chapter two.
